Translation of famous Marathi poem by B. R. Tambe
It is my favourite song which I used often as lullaby for my children and grand children, when they were kids. I have tried to convey the the vivid description of the morning beauty, though I cannot convey the sweetness of rhyme through words.

| Redish yellow tender sun light has spread all over It looks like a stream is carrying gold far away with its flow |
| Trees have put on variety of golden crowns The secred red dust has covered the lawns and fields |
| The green field of rice crop looks beautiful As if green blankets are swinging everywhere |
| There are many birds with golden, satin, silver colored feathers resembling different rainbow shades |
| The butterflies are sitting still like flowers of rice plants, looking like sleeping or swinging in cradles |
| Sudden and swift many others fly here and there looking like feathers with specs of dimond, and jewelss sprinkled on them |
| See the birds are gathering on the trees after their meals and where has gone the sun as a ball of gold which got drowned beyond horizon |
Very helpful. Beautiful poem
