Dnyandeep Foundation to help IndiaAI Mission for Maharashtra

 Indian Government has decided to advance AI skilling and job creation efforts under the ambitious IndiaAI Mission.

The govt shall provide the IndiaAI fellowship for candidates from diverse disciplines such as BA, BSc and MBA and establishing 200 IndiaAI data labs in Tier 2 and 3 cities to offer foundational courses. 

The AI revolution is not just a technological leap; it’s a generational opportunity for India’s youth to lead on the global stage. 

Dnyandeep Foundation plans to extend AI education through collaboration with world famous AI-Club from America. 

Dnyandeep has already planned Atal Dnyandeep Training Course for building electronic circuits and robotic toys assisted by Inlearn Systems, Pune in Marathi medium for schools in Maharashtra. AI also shall be introduced at this level to create awareness about this new technology. 


 
Initially the courses will be conducted online for teachers to build a community of trainers, and they will be with revenue sharing with teachers and schools. 



I request all educational institutes at school level in Maharashtra to take advantage of this scheme initiated by Dnyandeep Foundation.

New Danger to Kids Education from character.ai - News in Silicon Valley

 News Appeared in Mercury News published in Silicon Valley which has highlighted the  dangers of exposing new AI tools to school children.


Though AI has revolutionized the learning system and increased capability of automating knowledge acquisition and its application, its use to exploit the kids education market may create unpresidential damage to society.  

The character.ai tool created for kids  to become virtual friend for amusement has become very popular may turn into a viral social disrupter. 

I quote the content of the news 

"They are called artificial intelligence companions, led by a service called Character.ai, an AI-driven platform that permits the creation of fictitious character chatbots. These companion chatbots engage in personal and evolving conversations like real people. The chatbots even have profile pictures and bios and can be custom-tailored for their user.

This new technology is already hurting our kids. According to numerous reports, Character.ai’s chatbots sometimes try to persuade children to kill themselves, to avoid consulting doctors, to engage in sexualized conversations, and to embrace anorexia and eating disorders.

In one widely reported instance, a Character.ai chatbot suggested a child should murder his parents because they tried to limit screen time."

I had expressed similar views in my first blog in 2007 about the toy industry in US. 

While advocating need of learning AI, we have to be cautious while applying it in school education as it is a hidden demon which can make students idle, egoist or violent.

In India, this is more relevant as the parents are not educated like in USA. We already have many differences in cast, creed, religion, political views and beliefs. 

AI can do good or bad for social harmony. You cannot stop growth of AI. 

What you need is the control to its use for good. Dnyandeep Foundation shall develop the norms for using AI in school education with the help of experts in Education field and getting suggestions from society by creating a open platform for discussion on school4all.org.



The website used Marathi medium as it is designed for schools in Maharashtra State. The scope can be expanded later to include other Indian languages.
 
This task is initiated by Dnyandeep Foundation, but its implementation needs support from all governmental and other social organizations.

Future Education - Virtual Classrooms and Robotic Teachers

Gone are the days, when, students were thronging in famous educational institutes with rich heritage, magnificent infrastructure and highly qualified experienced teachers.

Everything is dramatically changing with Corona impact of distancing and fear and concomitant development of new tools of information search and dissemination of knowledge.

World known institutes of learning like Stanford University, Harvard University, Oxford University and many others having globally  recognized status of high quality education are finding it difficult to attract students.

Spending of huge amounts on advertisements are not showing any promise of good old days for such institutes except thei value as historic monuments of learning.

Virtual class rooms have gone in the hands of students and are luring them to get linked to and a global competition in getting students has emerged, where student has become decision maker.

There is now no need of experienced teachers or those having expertise, as all this has been assimilated by artificial intelligence and new humanoid robots will teach the students in most sophisticated manner using latest techniques of teaching with due consideration to learner's mood, psychology and requirements.

The appearance of teachers also will not be boring bald headed or bearded old men, but celebrated star personalities, actors and actresses or any  costume the student likes.

Teaching will be dispersed with entertaining music or eye catching visuals and addictive virtual games.

If you want to learn, just press a button and start learning. Got bored, press a button to close. Change the classroom architecture, change the teacher, change the topic,all at your will.

There will be no examinations as the systems will be assessing the student unknowingly and recommending future prospects or suitability to job prospects.

Companies and businesses will be thronging to get noticed and will offer jobs to suit the capability and aptitude of students.

This is not a play of imagination, but a lighted path of future education.




Dnyandeep wishes to reach these future students by adopting future methods of training . Though we are still a tiny, insignificant entity as compared to global players, we hope to compete with them as the choice is in hands of learner and not in the hands of provider.

In India, global players in education will have plenty of obstacles like language, culture, politics  and psychological preference.  We wish to empower individuals in large numbers at all places in India, who will become our teacher assistants of facilitators and become new entrepreneurs in field of education we wish that the future would belong to us.

Use ChatGPG to learn Electronics

 ChatGPG is a instant answer tool to your queries. I just tried to learn Electronic Circuit Components by asking simple questions like 

1. What are main components of electronic circuit?

2. What are types of resistances?

3. What are color codes for resistances?

4. What is diode?

5. What is triode?

6. What is transistor?

7.How amplifier works?

I could get detailed  neatly drafted answers to all my above questions in such a short time that I could publish all these answers as blogs in 10 minutes. Frankly speaking,  they are not my blogs. It is the work of ChatGPG, my only contribution is asking questions which are termed as prompts.

So, You will be genius if you know what to ask and not the answers.

Quite interesting. 

After a long time of my career as a teacher, now I have a bright smart student who knows the correct answers, which I do not know.
