Anusha Paintings

Anusha, my grand daughter is gifted with sensitive mind and liking for creative work. Since when she was in KG, she used to draw sketches, do painting and spend time in intricate paper work. She has decorated her desk with paitings from her own ideas.

Perhaps this interest in arts has come from his mom, who is also very choosy in designs, color combinations for clothes and furniture and is very keen in keeping the house clean and well arranged. She kept  Anusha busy with  Kathak dancing,  speakers club and  many skill development courses. Anusha is building these skills with interest.

Anusha likes to prepare special home made presents for birthday parties and special days and likes to keep secrecy celebrate the event with surprise to guest.

After initial period of sketching with pencil and crayons, she started using watercolor paints. She could learn to do wall paiting frames by seeing videos. Her concentration and hard working attitude, keen observation and patience in painting made her exceptionally good painter at age of 9. She gave her paitings as gift to friends, and even elder people liked her paintings and framed them for display in their houses.

The following movie gives glimpses of her paintings.

Encouraged by the success, she joined pencil sketching class and mastered  the technic of cartoon drawings of soft toys. She conducted online class for kids for a week and taught 12 students to draw many sketches in a weeklong course.

Now a days, she is attracted to reading Harry Potter, Star wars and mystery books and I am sure this will help in visualising dynamic events and scenarios, which will make her drawings more meaningful.
