Next stage is preparation of PSD image for approval of index page graphics. This is done by using image processing software like Adobe Photoshop or Fireworks. The development of PSD is a time consuming and skilled job and requires good knowledge of image editing and layout grouping. In addition to images provided by client, necessary graphics and images from internet search need to be incorporated after modifications to suit requirements. After completion of PSD design, it is submitted to client for approval or suggestions for alterations. As suggested by client, the PSD is modified and then   real design work starts.

Banner, Menu, Sitemap, different front-page modules and main content areas are separated and style-sheets are developed for display of these modules with look and feel as finalized in the PSD image. Appropriate JavaScript routines are developed for compliance to cross-browser compatibility. JQuery tools are used for display of images and image sliders. Font selection and smothering routines are implemented. All html program blocks of these different parts are stored as different files for ease of management and future modifications. These file are grouped at runtime for construction of webpage. 

In order to have consistency in display of other pages, suitable style-sheets for inner pages are designed. The contents of different sections of information are stored in different folders or in a separate database.

After the design of index page and inner pages, contact and feedback page are designed. 

 

Contact page may include location map. Feedback page is dynamic page. In this case a form for user input is designed. The information filled by user needs to be validated at client side and server side for security reasons.

 

 Website is submitted to major search engines and WWW consortium for link check and compatibility with design norms.
