I am happy to announce that Dnyandeep Foundation is organising a Seminar on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in collaboration with Walchand College of Engineering and Marathi Vidnyan Prabodhini. In the first stage, we plan to conduct innovation and creativity workshops in schools and then expand the activities to colleges and rural areas.
The seminar is open to anybody interested in fostering culture of creativity and innovation in education system.
I am giving below general information about proposed seminar. The final programme brochure shall be released within 3/4 days.

Introduction
When Steve Vozniac (Co-Founder of Apple Computers with Steve
Jobs) says that “Innovation in India is not at all possible. India has been
producing job seekers and not providing job creators”, Shall we accept this as
our attitude and ability? Never So!
We have
great heritage of innovation and creative ability, However in the course of
history, सरस्वती
पराधीन होती for
a long period, when we were governed by Invaders. However after independence,
we have made remarkable progress in various fields of Science and Technology
and now स्वाधीन सरस्वतीचा उज्वल काळ सुरु झाला आहे.
It is observed that there is a major focus in the present
days on “ Placement of Students” in the colleges and education pattern only
emphasizes competition in terms of percentage of marks and focus only on
employability.
Spirit of creativity and attitude of innovation and
entrepreneurship are the words used in the speeches on platform & not
nurtured through other activities. Government of India is supporting many
activities under the schemes like Atal Innovation Mission, Incubation Centers
and Entrepreneurship promotions. Start
up and Make in India are the words getting momentum now a days. However, we
have to help this drive by way of social awakening about the subject.
Theme
We have started the activity of Innovation Centre through
which the spirit of creative thinking and Innovative ideas useful for solving
problems in day today life, Science & Technology and Social Engineering
will be collected and followed for getting Solutions.
To gather the speed of activity and make this mission
successful and gain momentum, we have arranged a half day seminar on this
subject of Creativity, Innovation & Entrepreneurship on 12th
August, Sunday, 2018 at Sangli.
Sessions

practical ways of activity in this field. We welcome your suggestions / your
short papers to be presented in this seminar and the way you would like to
contribute for this cause.
