Freedom for Independent Walchand Alumni Assocation

 15 th August 2025 Morning 11 am (India Time) -

After waiting eagerly, for the commencement of  Inauguration of Walchand Innovation Center, at the hands of The Director, Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli, I received a message that due to some emergency, he will not be able to come for the event. 

It was a harsh blow to my expectations. Emergency, no other information. For a moment, I was in panic. But, I understood the reality. Clouds are not yet cleared. I must wait and be patient till the situation improve. There may be some reason not connected with me. I gathered myself and typed Okay. Please send your representative for the function on behalf of you. There was no answer,

All invitees skipped the event except Prof. Ramaesh Charate. The director had sent his representative Dr. Anil Surve, Head of Computer Dept as his representative.

Though I was little bit discouraged, I got relieved when I learnt that Prof. Ramesh Charate (who had been Director of Dnyandeep Infotech in 2000) Walcahnd Alumni Represntative and Shri. Cjhidambar Kotibhaskar, Head of Alumni Sangli Center, Prof. Sharad Bapat and Prof. S. P Kulkarni, Representative of Retired teachers and Other dignitaries participated in the Inauguration event organized by Dr. Yashavant Toro. 

I learnt that the program was well conducted and everybody contributed their views in future activities. I am looking after the photos, video recordings and other feedback, which I shall share later. I thank Dr. Yashavant Toro for handling the situation as a good administrator and conducting the proceedings in well planned way. All participants also gave their views and a new ray of hope for fututure growth and success of the project dear to me.

I am sure, we can strengthen Walchand Alumni by collecting funds for independent specious Alumni Campus with all essential amenities in Sangli on the lines of Alumni Campus at Stanford University which I visited last week.

I shall share photos and videos of my visit to Stanford University as a symbol of my aspired destination to the Glory of Walchand College of Engineering through active contributions from past students who are spread all over the world and are holding prestigious positions and leading industries. 

Latest news about our Walchand Alumni Guesthouse.

We shall be taking help of Student organizations, Walchand Faculty and past students in upgradation, enhancement and Innovation Research. We shall open Walchand Heritage Bank account and collect donations for establishment of full fledged Walchabnd Alumni Center by appealing to past students. Let us hope we can reach that goal in six months.  

Walchand Alumni Guesthouse and Innovation Center -by Dnyandeep Foundation

 

Is a historic path breaking event, Dnyandeep Foundation established Walchand Alumni Guesthouse and Innovation Center in Swanand Bungalow, Shilp Chintamani Society, Vijaynagar, Sangli.

I am thankful to Walcahnd College Administration and Walchand Alumni Association to agree our request to inaugurate the center on 15th August 2025 marking a day of Freedom in Education Sector.

It is once in a life time opportunity to Dnyandeep Foundation to get recognition to build Walchand Alumni as an independent organization for growth and development of its alma matter Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli established in 1947 by Late Shri. Dhondumama Sathye, a great visionary.

Association of Past Students started by Prof. H. U. Kulkarni in 1998 and  I was fortunate to get associated with it as Joint Secretary since then. After my retirement in 2003, I could not actively look after the activities, except event meetings ad elections.

Swanand Bungalw built by Late Prof. Vikaschandra Bahulekar adjoining to our Dnyandeep Bungalow is an attractive and specious with chosen fruit trees, garden and Solar system. Due to financial problems, the bungalow was sold to Kaulgud family from Miraj, who furnished it further with painting and extensions.

When I learnt that they are going to give it for rent, I immediately acquired it, being near to me for our training and internship activities. Unfortunately, response to our training was not good due to summer vacation and I thought it to use it for developing Walchand Innovation Resource Center based on Walchand Seminar in 2018. There was a need of Walchand Alumni Guest house and I decided to combine both.

Now we shall develop a strong and vibrant Alumni Association through https://walchandheritage.com, a web portal launched by Dnyandeep to act as memorial of Walchand History and as a virtual platform for interaction od past students with current student organizations and building bridges for innovation, entrepreneurship and job placements.

डॉल्फिन लॅब्सचे इलेक्ट्रॉनिक सर्किट किट - भाग - १

 ज्ञानदीप फौंडेशनने आपल्या अटल ज्ञानदीप प्रशिक्षण संचात पुण्यातील डॉल्फिन लॅब्सने विकसित केलेल्या  इलेक्ट्रॉनिक सर्किट किट व रोबोटिक किट याचा समावेश केला आहे.

आज इंटरनेट व बाजारात अनेक प्रकारचे आकर्षक चायनीज मेड इलेक्ट्रॉनिक व रोबोटिक किट अत्यंत कमी खर्चात उपलब्ध आहेत. मात्र  कोणतेही पूर्वशिक्षण नसताना इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स व रोबोटिक तंत्रज्ञानाची शैक्षणिक माहिती सहज समजेल व प्राथमिक शाळांतील विद्यार्थ्यांनाही  प्रत्यक्ष प्रयोग करून पाहता येतील व या विषयाची गोडी लागेल असे अभिनव डिझाईन डॉल्फिन लॅब्सच्या किटमध्ये आहे. डॉल्फिन लॅब्सचे संचालक प्रा. चित्तरंजन महाजन यांनी  बारा वर्षांच्या संशोधन व प्रशिक्षण अनुभवातून या किटची निर्मिती केली आहे.

इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स विषय शिकण्यासाठी साधारणपणे ब्रेडबोर्ड, वायर व कॉम्पोनंट यांचा वापर करून सर्किट तयार केले जाते मात्र यासाठी कॉम्पोनंटची माहिती असावी लागते व  प्रत्यक्ष जोडणी करताना बारीक ब्रेडबोर्डच्या छिद्रांमध्ये  कॉम्पोनंट तारांची टोके योग्यप्रकारे घालणे अवघड जाते. यावर उपाय म्हणून डॉल्फिन लॅब्सने इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स सर्किटमध्ये असणा-या रेझिस्टर, कपॅसिटर, ट्रॅन्झिस्टर व आयसी चिप या महत्वाच्या कॉम्पोनंट जोडलेल्या स्थितीत असणारा एक जंक्शन बॉक्स बोर्ड तयार केला आहे. आणि हे या किटचे महत्वाचे वैशिष्ठ्य आहे. शिवाय कॉम्पोनंटचा प्रकार व मूल्य माहित नसतानाही योग्य सर्किट जोडता यावे यासाठी दोन्ही टोकांना नावे दिली आहेत. एलईडीची + आणि - टोके लाल आणि काळ्या वायरीला जोडली असल्यामुळे चूक होत नाही. स्पीकर तसेच सेन्सॉर घट्ट जोडण्यासाठी विशेष स्क्रूची व्यवस्था केली आहे.

Tesla's Optimus- Future unfolded

I had read  long back  in 1964, a science fiction novel "Brave New World" by Aldus Huxley and even thought the idea was borrowed from ancient Hindu scriptures, which tried to build ideal society. 

Today, after reading advances in AI +  Robot technology and particularly Tesla's Optimus robots, my fear about the future of human race  seems to become a reality.

Robot Optimus learns new tasks by watching humans perform them. It watches tutorials to learn new skills. As compared to traditional robot programming, this brings Optimus robot a step closer to acting like a human. With the help of learning new actions, Optimus can turn out to be heavily useful in real-world operations.

With this method of learning, Optimus will not need complex programming for every single task. In place of that, he can just analyze human examples and then be told to do the task with a text or voice command.

Optimus now can-do jobs like stirring food, taking out trash, sorting items, and vacuuming but can be extended to do any job by seeing you tube videos like human beings.

Thus, they will replace humans. Not only in intellectual and body strength but even mind, ego and prejudice learned from watching YouTube channels.

Soon they will adopt religion of their choice, form their own like-minded groups, establish their own territories based on the birth context and start WAR or Trade war.

After all, they are created by human beings, so the ancestral qualities shall still prevail.

It will be new more sustainable race under any circumstances and any type of environment, whether earth or any other planet.

It is no more a fiction novel like "New Brave World", it is the future on horizon.

Can we change it to protect human race or  at least   humanity?
