Corruption level in India has risen to such a level that common man presumes it as a natural and universal phenomena for leaders, politicians and people holding power and position. The stiff competition in media has lead to use of advanced techniques in information search and monitoring to expose the corrupt practices. Right of Information and Sting operations have revealed many cases of corruption. Now a stage is coming where every act and event can be captured and the corruption can be exposed. But we should not be under impression that the corruption will be eliminated by mere exposure to public.
People even after knowing the corrupt background of leader follow and support him, praise him for their small gains.
What is amusing to note that these leaders give lectures of honesty, criticize other leaders about corruption presuming that people listening to him do not know his own deeds. It is like a naked king in procession where a small child exclaims that King is naked. Only variation in the story is that the public is a wise child who keeps mum over the truth well known to world about the leader.
